Las Vegas has always been known as ‘Sin City,’ but today it offers much more than just gambling. It’s a tourist destination for travelers of all ages and walks of life with world-class entertainment, fine dining, sightseeing, shopping and more. There’s a reason why it’s called the world’s most exciting city.

Las Vegas offers every game imaginable. There are casino table games, simple slot machines, and everything in between. You’ll even find slots in the gas station convenience stores. Everyone’s a winner and the casinos never close.

The shows in Las Vegas have made it a showbiz mecca from the days of the Rat Pack and Elvis to Cirque Du Soleil and today’s hottest rock groups. There’s something going on every night of the week and lots of shows that you can’t see anywhere else.

Las Vegas is a shopper’s paradise full of everything from designer boutiques to super-cheap factory outlets. And don’t forget the tacky Vegas souvenirs that are a must for every visitor to take back to friends.

The hotels are not only luxurious and world-class, but also unique. The Egypt-themed Luxor and the Stratosphere with its roller coaster perched atop its tower offer more than just a place to sleep. The hotels here host world leaders, the rich and famous, and ordinary folks too. Lodging can be found at every price range and most include coupons for casinos, restaurants, shows and other attractions.

Eating in Las Vegas is also an experience. Many celebrity chefs call it home. Casino buffets offer all you can eat of cuisine from around the world. There’s outstanding food at all price ranges, and you can still get prime rib for $3.99.

In the last few decades, Vegas has become a mecca for golfers. It has over 60 courses, many run by big names in the golfing world like Arnold Palmer and Steve Wynn. Its courses host championships such as the PGA Tour.

Las Vegas is also a great jumping-off point for sightseeing trips to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon.
